Amid the sudden surge of conflict in Israel last Saturday, international tour operator Intrepid Travel swiftly moved to ensure the safety of their travelling guests and tour leaders, all of whom have now been verified as secure.

Several of Intrepid’s travellers were within Israel’s borders when the conflict erupted. Under the careful watch of their tour leaders, they temporarily remained in their accommodations to ensure safety. As of now, the majority have departed Israel, and the remaining travellers are slated to journey home tomorrow.

The situation in Israel and the Palestinian Territories remains volatile. Aligning with advisories from the Foreign Office, which currently warns against non-essential travels, Intrepid Travel has elected to suspend all its scheduled trips until October 16. Company representatives are now in the process of communicating with the impacted clientele regarding these sudden changes.

Zina Bencheikh, the Managing Director of EMEA for Intrepid Travel, articulated her profound concerns regarding the ongoing strife. She expressed, “The heart-wrenching circumstances in Israel and the Palestinian Territories deeply concern us. Our sincere condolences and thoughts go out to all the grieving families and the people caught in the crossfire of this distressing situation.”
