The 2022/23 Australian summer season of the world’s largest and newest tall ship, Golden Horizon, is now on sale with earlybird savings now available until August 31, 2021, for bookings made on a Cairns to Sydney pre-Christmas voyage in December, 2022.

The savings are available through Australia’s leading small ship cruise specialist, Cruise Traveller, which is the exclusive Australian partner for new UK-based cruise line, Tradewind Voyages, which is debuting the majestic, 272-guest sailing ship, Golden Horizon, in Europe this month.

A new nine-night ‘Beaches Islands and Cities’ package from Cairns on December 14, 2022, includes a night in a Cairns hotel and a tropical, eight-night journey to Sydney aboard the huge, 162m-long Golden Horizon, visiting Townsville, the Whitsundays, the Sunshine Coast and Newcastle. The voyage ends with a spectacular  entry into magnificent Sydney Harbour, watched by scores of sightseers.

Graceful, spacious and traditional in style, the Golden Horizon is a modern, luxurious and eco-friendly sailing ship offering a relaxed but elegant ambience, fine cuisine restaurant, three pools, gym, library, spa sanctuary, four bars and a marina platform. All 140 cabins will offer ocean vistas.  The graceful square-rigger is expected to travel under the sole power of wind for an average 70 per cent of the time, thanks to 6300 square metres of billowing sails harnessed to the ship’s golden masts.

Fares for the nine-night package are available from A$4395 per person, twin-share, which is saving of $460 per person if booked by August 31, 2021. In a multi-room balcony-adorned Owner’s Suite, fares are available from $12,815 pe person-twin-share, which is a saving of $1390 if booked by August 31, 2021.
