Raffles Hotel Singapore’s 134th Birthday with Kino Soh, Brand Ambassador, Brass Lion Distillery

Celebrate Raffles Hotel Singapore’s 134th birthday from 16 to 19 September 2021. A special celebration awaits at Long Bar, home of the Singapore Sling, with an exclusive collaboration with the true Singapore spirit – Brass Lion. As Singapore’s first full-fledged micro-distillery, Brass Lion prides itself on offering a selection of high-quality craft spirits using local ingredients, inspired by the flourishing spice trade in the 19th century. A true representation of Singapore’s cultural heritage and tribute to local flavours, the distillery’s ethos reflect the Grande Dame’s commitment to commemorating its heritage and legendary service.

Kino Soh, renowned bartender and Brand Ambassador of Brass Lion Distillery has specially handcrafted three unique cocktails, each inspired by the familiar flavours of Singapore and Southeast Asian botanicals. Guests can expect to experience Kino’s creations such as Epal, a twist on the classic gin sour which features the flavours of cucumber and tangy green apple Yakult, bringing back nostalgic memories of the time spent with loved ones and the memorable Yakult aunties, selling the refreshing beverage door to door.

On 16 September 2021 at 6.30pm, partake in the festivities with us as we celebrate 134 years of storied history together with our iconic Raffles Doorman. Join us in a cake-cutting ceremony at Long Bar with an exquisite birthday cake crafted by Executive Pastry Chef Tai Chien Lin. Savour a slice of cake alongside Kino’s cocktail creations as she makes a special appearance from 6.00pm to 10.00pm on the day.
