Following a successful run of virtual events during the last year, Extraordinary Journeys, the award-winning tour operator and adventure travel specialist, kicks off an all-new monthly webinar series, Passports: (Virtual) Journeys on May 20, 2021. Passports: (Virtual) Journeys will continue to showcase unique experiences and destinations around the world, offering a chance to learn from industry experts and personalities with topics ranging from wildlife photography in Kenya to tiger conservation in India and free diving in South Africa to navigating family safaris or trekking in Peru.

“Over the last year, many of us learned that we as humans have a genuine need to explore and interact with the world around us. Even as we’re getting back out there more and more, the ability to virtually connect with people and places around the world remains a gift of the past year,” says Elizabeth Gordon, Extraordinary Journeys’ co-founder. “We hope each session in this new series sparks a desire in people to want to travel internationally again and support those destinations that rely on tourism and have been impacted this past year deeply.”
Attendees can register for each event in advance, by visiting the dedicated Passports (Virtual) Journeys portal on Extraordinary Journeys’ website. The series will be hosted via Zoom, with sessions taking on a variety of different forms depending on subject matter. From lecture-style talks, panels, how-to sessions, and hands-on interactive activities, Extraordinary Journeys plans to mix things up for each topic. If an event requires advanced purchase items (such as ingredients to make something, or wine for a virtual tasting) Extraordinary Journeys will pull everything together in a one-click bundle for participants to buy.
While Extraordinary Journeys’ itineraries are tailor-made and unique to each client, the Passport sessions will be accompanied by a corresponding itinerary that is available for booking, or can serve as inspiration for a tailored journey to suit individual needs and preferences.
