Melco has long been committed to providing a diverse and innovative tourism and entertainment experience in Macau while promoting the city’s status as a safe travel destination. Adhering to a high-level of hygiene standard throughout its global operations, rigorous health and hygiene measures are implemented across its integrated resorts to ensure guests enjoy world-class services in a safe and healthy environment.

Highlighting the Company’s efforts in the area, especially for children’s play facilities which are faced with increased health and hygiene risks, in as early as 2020, City of Dreams’ Kids’ City was awarded the SGS HCMS certification, becoming the first and only first integrated resort in Macau to obtain the credential. Kids’ City went on to attain the certification once again in 2023. Additionally, Studio City’s Super Fun Zone, which opened in 2022, successfully passed the same rigorous certification procedures, establishing Melco as the first and only company in Macau to obtain SGS HCMS certification across all its children’s playgrounds.

Mr. David Sisk, Chief Operating Officer – Macau Resorts of Melco, said: “With the safety, health and wellbeing of our guests and colleagues being a top priority, we are thrilled to achieve the international safety and hygiene best practice standard.
