“As the new school year commences on August 30th in Ukraine, a country grappling with the challenges of war, it becomes evident that addressing not just the structural issues but also the socio-economic concerns surrounding the lack of educational infrastructure for children is of utmost importance. By doing so, parents will be afforded the essential opportunity to resume their professional activities, thus playing a significant role in the continued development of the country’s economy. “ – Alina Kachorovska, CEO and Designer.

TROOPS BOOTS: KACHOROVSKA AND THEIR CHARITABLE ENDEAVORS
Since Russia’s aggression in February 2022, people have been actively brainstorming strategies and initiatives to address the aftermath of the war and the reconstruction of Ukraine. The devastating consequences of Russia’s attack, including loss of life, destruction of homes, and damaged infrastructure, have prompted many to seek ways to rebuild.
The CEO of Kacharovska, Alina Kachorovska, shared her experience: “Our business came to a halt on February 24. My hometown, where our factory is located, was constantly bombarded from the first day of the war. By the fifth day, my mother, who manages the factory, started receiving requests for army boots from men volunteering in the military. She contacted other shoe factories and our employees, and everyone agreed to resume work and produce army boots”.
Ukrainian footwear brand KACHOROVSKA has also joined the philanthropic efforts by using its expertise and connections to support the military behind the front lines. This is their second charitable endeavor since the war began.
To spread the word, they announced on Instagram that they would be producing 500 pairs of army boots for free. They also mentioned that people could support and donate if they wanted to. Remarkably, they raised $25,000 in under two days. Currently, Kacharovska and another shoe factory in their town are finishing the final 200 pairs. They will have produced 1,000 army boots distributed for free to various regions across Ukraine.
The most valuable feedback they received came from a soldier who happens to be the husband of their technologist. He expressed that these boots were the most comfortable and easy to wear, as he had walked 60 kilometers in them. Based on this positive response, Kacharovska has decided to continue producing army boots for a certain period.
As a successful Ukrainian footwear brand, KACHOROVSKA has not only overcome the challenges of the current times but has also thrived. CEO Alina Kachorovska has shown remarkable creativity, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to excellence despite the ongoing conflicts.
