The Travel & Adventure Show Series has concluded its 2023 season with a bang, having drawn in over 150,000 attendees and more than 1,200 exhibitors across eight major cities in the United States. From New York to Los Angeles, the shows provided a platform for hundreds of top destinations and travel providers worldwide to showcase their offerings. Leading travel experts like Rick Steves, Pauline Frommer, Samantha Brown, and Peter Greenberg shared valuable insights and advice with attendees.
According to John Golicz, CEO of Unicomm, LLC, which produces the Travel & Adventure Shows, the series saw a significant increase in attendance from past years, with serious buyers signalling their eagerness to travel in the coming year.
“We’ve seen a large increase in not just the number of attendees this year across all our shows, but the quality of travelers that came to each event,” Golicz said. “Serious buyers proved that the desire for travel is stronger than ever amongst US consumers.”
The shows also saw exhibitors selling exclusive deals on the show floor, with some deals selling out on the spot. To meet the demand from travellers, the Travel & Adventure Shows even brought in passport acceptance programs to several shows this year so that travellers could file passport applications and renewals on-site at the show.
Looking ahead to 2024, the Travel & Adventure Show has already released its calendar, including a new show in Phoenix. The schedule of events for 2024 will kick off in Chicago on January 13-14 and will include stops in Denver, New York, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., Atlanta, San Francisco/Bay Area, and Dallas before concluding with the new show in Phoenix on March 23-24.
“We’re excited to bring the Travel & Adventure Show to Phoenix for the first time and to continue providing a platform for travelers to discover new destinations, connect with travel providers, and gain inspiration for their next adventure,” Golicz said.
