Victoria’s only polo event for the summer, the Twilight Beach Polo, returns to the sand of St Kilda West Beach on Saturday, February 4, 2023.
As one of Melbourne’s summer signature events, Twilight Beach Polo promises to deliver everything the vibrant city has to offer – fashion, sport, food and wine, in an atmosphere that makes it one of Melbourne’s must-attend events.
Four of the country’s top polo teams will hit the sand on the St Kilda West Beach shoreline in front of over 4,000 spectators for two high-energy matches under the palms.
Twilight Beach Polo Director, Brad Taylor said: “The Twilight Beach Polo has cemented its spot in Melbourne’s list of events to attend each summer, and we’re excited to be bringing it back to the shores of St Kilda West in February.
“With no more capacity restrictions on events, over 4,000 people are expected to come down and enjoy the event.”
The who’s who of Melbourne will again turn out for the event, including Collingwood’s Jack Crisp and wife Mikayla, as well as four-time Olympian and triple gold medallist swimmer Emily Seebohm and her partner, Married at First Sight star Ryan Gallagher, already looking forward to a great day out on the sand.
“Ryan and I are getting excited about the Twilight Beach Polo. It’s one of the most enjoyable events on Melbourne’s summer calendar and we’re looking forward to being a part of it in 2023,” Emily Seebohm said.
Jack Crisp said: “The polo is the perfect summer day out in Melbourne, on the beach with a great vibe. Mikayla and I will certainly take the day to relax before the craziness of the footy season.”
