The 8th Bali and Beyond Travel Fair (BBTF), the largest travel event in Indonesia organized by the Association of Indonesian Travel Agents (ASITA) Bali Chapter will be held on 14-18 June 2022 at the Bali International Convention Center (BICC) Nusa Dua, Bali.“We believe in high performing relationships between official authorities, national and international business colleagues, tourism stakeholders, destinations managers and related institutions. Bali is now ready to rise and maintain its position as the world’s preferred destination,” said Putu Winastra, Chairman of Asita Bali.
The tourism sector plays an important role in accelerating economic recovery, also linked to the stimulation of creative industries and their job creation capacities. The year 2022 is a good momentum for the tourism sector to take advantage of Indonesia as the host of G20 and other world-class events to be held in our country and particularly in Bali,” added Putu Winastra.
Bringing together sellers and buyers in one single forum, the Bali & Beyond Travel Fair has succeeded in attracting the registration of 128 sellers and 87 quality buyers coming from 28 different countries.
On the theme of “Balancing in Harmony”, BBTF 2022 will highlight Sports, Health and Wellness tourism – where Bali has become home to world-class medical facilities that provide traditional and cutting-edge treatments.
Popular as an annual tourism exhibition and leading travel destination in Indonesia, BBTF has been continuously supported by the Ministry of Tourism, local governments and associations under the auspices of GIPI.
The number of activities and discussion forums gathering selected speakers will review industry opportunities and emerging trends, cultural diversity and priority destinations as strategic assets for Indonesia’s tourism growth.
