Celebrity Cruises has today unveiled the newest ship in its fleet, the absolutely stunning Celebrity Beyond, due to start taking passengers and we hope even Australian passengers, in around a year’s time in April 2022, with Celebrity Beyond the third ship in what Celebrity describes as the company’s industry-transforming Edge Series and the pinnacle of new luxury.

Celebrity says that if you thought its predecessor Celebrity Apex was impressive, Celebrity Beyond goes further than imagined possible for a cruise ship, creating a new world of wonder and luxury, with highlights including, showcasing the design talents of multi-award-winning British designer Kelly Hoppen CBE; celebrated American designer Nate Berkus; and lauded Paris-based design firm Jouin Manku and the innovation of British architect Tom Wright.

Celebrity says that Celebrity Beyond offers an unrivalled culinary repertoire of 30 distinct restaurants, bars and lounges, including a wholly redesigned Sunset Bar that is near twice the size and spread over two decks plus the brand new Le Voyage by Celebrity’s Culinary Ambassador and Michelin-starred chef, Daniel Boulud, his first ever restaurant at sea.

There is also what Celebrity describes as an exclusive ‘members only’ unadulterated outdoor bliss at The Retreat, Celebrity’s own resort-within-a-resort for suite guests, with reimagined accommodations, a private restaurant and an exclusive lounge and two-story sundeck.

Celebrity says that the stunning Rooftop Garden even extends right over the open sea with two spectacular, cantilevered float pools to bring you closer to the water’s edge, with Celebrity Beyond offering transformed accommodations from modern two-story villas with private plunge pools to staterooms with infinite verandas that blur the boundaries between indoor and outdoor living and a boldly redesigned Grand Plaza spanning three decks, creating an airy and open indoor space…and the return of the Magic Carpet®, an engineering feat soaring cantilevered above the sea, offering guests uninterrupted vistas while sipping cocktails or having dinner

Look out for my forthcoming interview with Tim Jones, Celebrity Cruises Managing Director, Australia and APAC, when Tim and I will chat about Celebrity Beyond and also updates about Celebrity in general
