Despite a delayed global calendar due to Covid-19, Spartan racers worldwide have not stopped challenging themselves in different ways, while banding together with billions of people worldwide to fight the virus.
Spartans everywhere are teaming up once again to test the limits of their physical and mental endurance. Hong Kong Spartans will get their chance when the Spartan Race Hong Kong 2020 launches with Spartan H3X on 3 October on Lantau Island.
Could you survive a grueling 24-hour endurance challenge if you knew thousands of other Spartans around the world were doing it with you? This year, H3X will be run simultaneously in six regions around the globe, including Hong Kong, China, the Philippines, USA, Austria and Slovakia.
Spartan H3X is a three-tiered event designed to test competitors across all three of Spartan’s trademark Hurricane Heat levels in one brutal session.
Hurricane Heat isn’t a race, it’s a collaborative effort between teams of strangers. Work with your new teammates to tackle challenges while forging bonds and achieving goals together.
H3X begins with the anything but breezy Hurricane Heat level one, a 4-hour trial tasking teams with solving nonlinear problems and overcoming physical challenges.
Headwinds stiffen over the next eight hours in level two, the Hurricane Heat 12-Hour category that now introduces individual challenges.
Those seeking the most extreme challenge bunker down for a further 12 hours of non-stop physical and mental obstacles in the Hurricane Heat 24-Hour. H3X is currently the only Hurricane Heat 24-Hour event offered worldwide.
It is all or nothing. Finishers who complete the tier they originally registered will receive a HH patch, a dog tag and a metal wedge. A limited edition H3X shirt will also be given to all finishers. Participants who do not finish the event will go home empty handed.
Even beginners can step up to the first level challenge, Hurricane Heat 4-Hour, to unite with Spartans worldwide in conquering H3X.
