Commencing June 30 2018, the Sultanate of Oman, Ministry Tourism will no longer have a local tourist office presence in Australasia due to a reprioritisation of global marketing efforts.Jacqui Walshe, Managing Director of The Walshe Group said “It has been a pleasure representing Oman for the last eight years.  Despite the closure of the tourist board office we are very pleased that we will be able to stay connected to this inspiring destination through our ongoing representation of Oman Air and are encouraged by the recent growth in sales for the airline from Australia.

“We would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to our industry and media partners who have supported Oman over this time.”

Travel Agents will be able to continue to access the Oman training modules to qualify as an Oman Preferred Travel Agent. https://training.tourismoman.com.au/
