Accor releases fantastic footy deals as NRL finals fever hits Queensland

September 15, 2021 Hotel Deals No Comments

With the announcement that Queensland will host the 2021 NRL Telstra Premiership Grand Final and Preliminary Finals, a bout of footy fever is spreading throughout the Sunshine State.

This year, the NRL Finals Series will break new ground with all matches being played in Queensland for the first time.

The premiership decider is being held at Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium on Sunday 3 October. Suncorp Stadium will also host the preliminary finals on 24 and 25 September, and Mackay is the venue for this weekend’s semi-finals (on 17 and 18 September).

Accor, the Official Accommodation Partner of the NRL, has a selection of hotels conveniently located nearby both stadiums and they’re calling all fans to take advantage of their winning rates for the Finals Series.

To book any of the below deals (and more!), visit all.accor.com

BRISBANE

As one of the closest Accor hotels to Suncorp Stadium, just a leisurely short 20 minute walk away, Pullman Brisbane King George Square is a great option for footy fans. Rates start from $320* per night.

To add a dose of culture with your sports, stay at The Johnson Brisbane – Art Series from $162* per night. Set in Spring Hill, less than 2km from Suncorp Stadium, The Johnson takes its deign cues from celebrated Australian abstract artist Michael Johnson.

Also less than 2km from the stadium, and with an enviable location on the southern bank of the Brisbane River, Mantra South Bank is offering hotel rooms from $179* per night.

MACKAY

For those travelling to Mackay for the semi-finals at BB Print Stadium, Accor is match-ready with two properties in convenient locations in the central Queensland hub.

Standing on a prime waterfront site offering views over the Coral Sea, Mantra Mackay, is a 15 minute drive to all of the semi-final action. Stay from $188* per night.

Or, stay at the vibrant ibis Mackay, located close to the airport and just an eight minute drive to the stadium, from $135* per night.

Members of Accor Asia Pacific’s travel, dining and lifestyle programme, Accor Plus, will receive 10 percent off these rates.

Guests can also stay with Accor as member of ALL – Accor Live Limitless, Accor’s lifestyle loyalty program, and open the door to spectacular experiences, discounts and rewards.

Accor’s flexible rates are available at a huge range of Accor brands in Queensland, including Sofitel, MGallery, Art Series, Pullman, Grand Mercure, Peppers, The Sebel, Mantra, Novotel, Mercure, BreakFree, ibis, ibis Styles and ibis Budget.

Accor has some of the most stringent cleaning standards and operational procedures in the world of hospitality to ensure guest safety. Accor’s ALLSAFE label certification, developed with and vetted by Bureau Veritas, represents Accor’s new cleanliness and prevention standards and provides assurance these standards have been met in Accor hotels.
