Leading luxury travel operator APT announces that direct flights between Melbourne and Kununurra are now available to book in conjunction with its Kimberley departures in 2020.
This exciting new initiative creates the only direct flight link between Australia’s east coast and the East Kimberley region.
Working closely with Alliance Airlines and Virgin Australia as well as the Shire of Wyndham East Kimberley and Tourism Western Australia, APT has ensured these new direct flights perfectly support its Kimberley program in 2020. Flights are on sale from August 1, 2019 with the first flight operating May 15, 2020 in line with APT’s first departure of the 10-day Grand Kimberley Coast cruise, which leaves from nearby Wyndham to Broome in 2020. The direct flights from Melbourne to Kununurra will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, while return journeys will operate on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. A number of the available seats have already been pre-purchased by APT so customers can easily add connecting flights between Melbourne and their home city, including New Zealand.
