DidaTravel – a tech-driven global travel distribution company – has announced today that Theresa McLarney has joined as Senior Business Development Director, North America to further strengthen its position in this key region as well as grow the company’s global position as a leading accommodation distribution player.
In this role Theresa will report to Germán Perez, VP Business Development, The Americas to further grow DidaTravel’s current base of over 35,000 B2B buyers worldwide – including travel agents, tour operators, OTAs, TMCs and MICE – that already provide over 50% of all sales globally from outside of the company’s traditional APAC home.
As part of this Theresa will ensure that Didatravel’s portfolio of more than 75,000 competitively sourced direct hotel contracts – as well as +1,000,000 accommodation products provided by +600 global suppliers – around the world gain access to high-value, hard-to-reach and incremental bookings from the USA and Canada, that rank among the world’s most important source markets.
Theresa has over 30 years of industry experience, joining Didatravel from Go Global Travel Group and has also held senior commercial roles in many leading travel firms including Hotelspro, Bedsonline, GTA and Cendant among others. Theresa has a proven track record in building highly effective commercial strategies that drive growth.
