Helloworld Travel’s DMC division, comprising ATS Pacific and AOT Inbound, showcased their prowess at the recent Australian Tourism Exchange (ATE) held in Melbourne last week. The Inbound division, recognized as the largest in the country, caters to prestigious wholesalers globally, with primary markets including the UK, USA, and Europe.
Participating as both a “buyer” and a “seller,” Helloworld Travel recorded unprecedented appointments and engaged extensively with partners on both sides. This dual role underscored its commitment to fostering robust relationships and expanding its market reach.
The highlight of the event was the gala dinner held on Wednesday night. Hosted in the exclusive Horizon function area at Crown Towers, the dinner featured a sumptuous three-course meal paired with fine wines. Guests were treated to a captivating operatic performance by The Three Waiters, adding a touch of elegance to the evening.
Cinzia Burnes, COO of Helloworld Travel, expressed her optimism about the future, stating, “The Inbound market is hugely important to Helloworld, and we are delighted to see how positive our long-standing partners are about the future level of business and the demand they are experiencing in their countries for Australia. The timing is excellent given the decline we are seeing in domestic demand.”
The event not only reinforced Helloworld Travel’s position as a leader in the inbound tourism market but also highlighted the industry’s resilience and adaptability. With a renewed focus on international partnerships, Helloworld Travel is poised to successfully navigate the evolving landscape of global tourism.
