A standout figure in this cornucopia of success is the number of international attendees, which soared to over 722,000, marking an unprecedented 60% year-on-year growth. This influx of global participants brings diverse perspectives and opportunities to the bustling halls of DWTC and aligns with the aspirational D33 Agenda, which aims to catapult Dubai into the top three global economic cities by 2033.

Helal Saeed Almarri, Director General of Dubai World Trade Centre Authority, encapsulates the sentiment of achievement and ambition, “Our increasingly diverse exhibitions and events portfolio, along with its allied businesses, continue to go from strength to strength.” Almarri’s vision reflects a robust economy and strategic industry focus, positioning Dubai as a global hub of knowledge, innovation, and business.

The past year has been marked by several industry-leading events, including GITEX Global and Gulfood, which further solidified DWTC’s status as a frontrunner in global events and exhibitions. These flagship events, renowned for their sector leadership, have seen visitor numbers swell by 44% and 31%, respectively, a testament to DWTC’s unrivalled ability to draw crowds and foster groundbreaking discussions.

Moreover, the introduction of 33 new events to DWTC’s calendar, including the World of Coffee and the World Police Summit, has infused the venue with fresh energy and opportunities, attracting nearly 95,000 participants and over 2,000 exhibiting companies. These additions underscore DWTC’s appeal as the venue of choice for international and innovative gatherings.

On the global stage, DWTC’s expansion through KAOUN International, with the launch of GITEX Africa and the Saudi Food Show, highlights its ambition and reach, drawing attendees from across continents and cultures.
