Recent data from Tourism Fiji reveals that between January and May, over 162,435 Australians have ventured to the idyllic island nation, marking an 8.3% increase compared to the same period in 2023. Notably, May alone saw 38,944 Australian tourists, a remarkable 12% rise from the previous year.

The post-pandemic resurgence in tourism highlights Australians’ renewed love for Fiji’s pristine beaches, friendly locals, and vibrant culture. Brent Hill, CEO of Tourism Fiji, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “Our tourism industry is robust and performing exceptionally well. We are poised for further growth this year and are well-equipped to embrace this positive trend.”
