OFF the back of an extremely successful Switzerland Travel Mart 2024 Winter Edition in January this year, owner and managing director of International Rail, Jonathan Rail, has introduced a new product for the company, the Swiss Hotel to Hotel luggage transfer service.

This add-on service compliments the popular Swiss Travel Pass and especially benefits tourists travelling domestically within Switzerland, says Hume.

“By including services such as these, International Rail is further strengthening its position in the market as a reputable local Australian one-stop-shop for agents and enabling them to create a complete rail holiday experience for their clients”.

Agents can now offer this service when creating their clients Swiss rail holiday itinerary, so it is pre-arranged prior to departure.

The convenience and efficiency of this luggage transfer, allows travellers peace-of-mind and less physical hassle when moving between destinations across Switzerland.

The process is simple, luggage is held at the reception desk at the departing hotel, a logistics service then collects the luggage and transports it to the next hotel, where it will be waiting for travellers at reception- usually in the late afternoon or evening.
