With over three decades of experience in the hospitality industry, Joanie brings a wealth of expertise to her new role. Having spent more than 20 years specialising in Housekeeping management, Joanie has honed her skills in a variety of prestigious establishments. Prior to joining The Langham, Melbourne, she held the esteemed position of Executive Housekeeper at One and Only Wolgan Valley Resort Blue Mountains, showcasing her dedication to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Throughout her career, Joanie has worked with renowned brands such as Sheraton, The Westin, The Royale Chulan, The Datai Langkawi, and many more. Her diverse background in both corporate and resort hotels, coupled with her international and local knowledge, positions her as a valuable asset to The Langham Hospitality Group.
In her previous roles, Joanie has driven initiatives aimed at enhancing guest experiences, implementing innovative sustainability practices, and optimising operational efficiencies. Her commitment to excellence and ability to inspire her team have consistently earned her accolades and recognition within the industry. Joanie will report directly to Karl Marshall, the General Manager of The Langham, Melbourne.
