Malaysia Airlines is delighted to announce its recognition in three categories at the annual Cellars in the Sky Awards by Business Traveller. The airline is proud to have won Gold in the First Class White Wine category, Bronze for First Class Sparkling and Silver for First Class Cellar.
The Gold-winning wine, Chateau Couhins Lurtons, 2020, an AOC Pessac-Léognan from the Bordeaux region, exemplifies Malaysia Airlines’ commitment to curating a refined selection of onboard beverages. Carefully chosen to complement the fine cuisine offered to Business Suite passengers, the award-winning white is a testament to the pursuit of excellence, a passion very much shared by Malaysia Airlines.
Building on this success, Malaysia Airlines, which offers superior connectivity to more than 900 destinations in 170 territories across the globe, also clinched the Bronze award in the First Class sparkling category. Business Suite passengers are served Champagne Taittinger Comte de Champagne Blanc de Blancs, 2007, a vintage cuvée that is emblematic of Maison Taittinger, one of the region’s most sought-after houses.
In recognition of the Malaysia Airlines team’s relentless focus on offering impeccable all-round service, the full cellar earned a Silver award. The airline’s wine selection is hand-picked to delight the senses, elevating the onboard experience to new heights with refined and distinctive flavours to suit all preferences and pairings. This overall award is a tribute to the team’s meticulous sourcing of the very best in all categories to ensure all elements of the onboard experience convey the spirit of signature Malaysian Hospitality – a source of great pride for all at Malaysia Airlines.
The Business Suite is Malaysia Airlines’ most luxurious onboard offering, exclusively available on our flagship A350-900 aircraft. The spacious but intimate Business Suite cabin features four (4) fully enclosed seats with direct aisle access, each of which benefits from a 24-inch touchscreen IFE for passengers’ entertainment. For the ultimate in onboard rest and relaxation, these seats convert into full-flat beds with a length of 83 inches.
For a limited time, the airline is offering enticing all-in return fares across ASEAN and Europe with the Malaysia Airlines Holiday Special sale which ends on Monday 26 February 2024. Business Class fares start from AUD$3,349 and come with a check-in baggage allowance of 40kg, two cabin baggage allowances of 7kg each, free seat selection, complimentary meals, priority check-in, boarding and baggage, and access to the airline’s top-notch lounges.
