Voters in the 2023 World Ski Awards crowned the Forbes Five-Star Stein Eriksen Lodge the “United States’ Best Ski Hotel” and Stein Eriksen Residences the “United States’ Best Ski Boutique Hotel” in the 11th annual World Ski Awards, upholding their reign in their respective categories from 2022.

The World Ski Awards is the only global initiative to recognise, reward, and celebrate excellence in ski tourism. Their purpose is to bring the industry closer together, thereby inspiring innovation, local growth and prosperity. Ski industry professionals and ski consumers voted this summer to determine which ski organisations are leading their respective fields. Stein Eriksen Lodge earned the esteemed recognition of the nation’s best ski hotel out of 19 U.S. finalists, while Stein Eriksen Residences rose to the top of 9 finalists for its best ski boutique hotel title.

“We are honoured to have yet again earn the coveted titles of United States’ Best Ski Hotel and United States’ Best Ski Boutique Hotel in the 2023 World Ski Awards,” said Russ Olsen, CEO of Stein Collection. “Our guests and ski industry peers recognise our reputation for legendary service and being the standard in luxury ski vacations, and it is all thanks to our exceptionally dedicated staff who continue to raise the bar year after year.”

Located mid-mountain at the world-renowned Deer Valley Resort, Stein Eriksen Lodge has been awarded U.S. Best Ski Hotel in 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2018 through 2023. In addition to the United States’ Best Ski Hotel and World’s Best Ski Hotel awards from the Ski Oscars, Stein Eriksen Lodge is also Utah’s longest-running Forbes Five-Star resort and spa. The Lodge ranks highly as a World’s Best Hotel from Travel + Leisure and from Condé Nast Traveler’s Gold List and Top 40 Resorts in the Western U.S. List. It has been named among Forbes Magazine’s Top Ten Best Ski Resorts in North America, a gold-medal winner in The World’s Finest Ski Hotels for 2024 by SNOW Magazine, as well as accolades from Resorts & Great Hotels, Zagat, DiRoNA, Santé, and Wine Spectator, among many others.

Stein Eriksen Residences offers a refined, contemporary collection of private homes, one to five-bedroom suites, and single rooms with unparalleled service and luxurious amenities. Each accommodation’s elevated aesthetic provides an atmosphere of ultimate relaxation and blissful escape. This is the second year in a row that Stein Eriksen Residences has earned the “United States’ Best Ski Boutique Hotel” recognition from the World Ski Awards.
