Carnival will be the team’s official partner for the next two seasonsToday, Carnival Cruise Line and the Brisbane Bullets are excited to announce their new partnership, which will see the professional basketball club and the World’s Most Popular Cruise Line team up in the FUNshine state.

As the Official Premier Partner of the Brisbane Bullets, Carnival will bring its unique brand of FUN to home games through the Carnival FUN Zone, a dedicated area for kids to play and explore on a 6m high inflatable obstacle course. Carnival will also host Bullets-inspired activations and experiences onboard Carnival Luminosa, as well as grassroots community basketball clinics, and more.

Carnival’s partnership with the Brisbane Bullets further cements the brand’s commitment to Queensland as it prepares to welcome back its Brisbane-based ship, Carnival Luminosa, on 15 October for a second Australian season.

Brisbane Bullets Chief Executive Officer Malcolm Watts is pleased to have Carnival on board. “We are proud to welcome Carnival into the Bullets family and we look forward to growing and nurturing our partnership over the next two years,” Watts said.

“The addition of Carnival Cruise Line to our partnership portfolio highlights the trajectory of the NBL and major brands coming to the table that value a family-friendly sport backed by massive year-on-year growth in participation and brand metrics of recent seasons,” Watts added.

“We’re so proud to be teaming up with the Brisbane Bullets, a sporting organisation that has been an integral part of the Queensland community for over 44 years. Basketball is Australia’s fastest-growing sport and it’s one of our favourites too,” said Carnival Cruise Line Vice President Kara Glamore.

“Our onboard basketball court is just one of the 45+ activities we offer on our Brisbane ship, Carnival Luminosa. We love that this partnership with the Bullets represents new ways of bringing FUN to Queenslanders both at sea and on land, as well as our long-term commitment to the Sunshine State,” Glamore continued.

The Brisbane Bullets 2023-2024 season officially kicks off in Brisbane on Friday 29 September.
