Baillie Lodges GM Marketing and Communications Justine LallyBaillie Lodges is pleased to announce the appointment of esteemed tourism and hospitality professional Justine Lally to the newly created role of General Manager, Marketing and Communications.

The new senior role has been created to oversee all marketing and communications strategies including digital and social media initiatives for the Baillie Lodges collection of properties, to both cement the brand’s premium position and steer it for the future as the portfolio continues to grow in Australia and overseas.

Justine Lally’s appointment comes after an extensive selection process, her new role at Baillie Lodges will sit alongside and complement General Manager of Sales, Distribution and Partnerships Kylie Stever, with both senior leadership roles integral to the ongoing evolution and growth of the business.

A highly regarded tourism industry veteran, Justine comes to the role with an impressive twenty years’ experience leading marketing strategy and initiatives across the travel, experience economy and events sector.

Justine’s breadth of experience neatly dovetails with the Baillie Lodges brand of high-end experiential tourism. Justine spent her early career at the then P&O Resorts properties including Silky Oaks Lodge, followed by an extended stint at General Manager Marketing at APT Travel Group, then Marketing and Sales Director at Food + Wine Victoria and most recently as General Manager Marketing at Journey Beyond, whose swag of premium Australian properties and experiences include Sal Salis at Ningaloo Reef and The Ghan.

Baillie Lodges Chief Operating Officer Craig Bradbery said the company was delighted to have secured a tourism marketing professional of such high standing as Justine for the key management role, with the timing of her appointment perfectly aligned with the upcoming reopening of the company’s flagship Southern Ocean Lodge in December 2023.
