Westminster Fire Station courtyardIn a move that promises to redefine luxury in London’s property market, ALTIDO, a titan in European property management, has unveiled its latest marvel: the iconic Westminster Fire Station. Dating back to 1906, this historic edifice in the bustling heart of Victoria has been reimagined for today’s discerning traveller.

Under this landmark acquisition, part of their collaborative initiative with the global living giant DoveVivo, ALTIDO has inked a 10-year lease, marking their most significant property endeavour. Where once the sounds of sirens and firefighters once echoed, guests will now find 19 meticulously designed units. Each apartment, ranging from one to three bedrooms, seamlessly marries modern luxury with hints of the building’s storied past. The nostalgic fireman’s pole may be absent, but the charm isn’t lost. Some units even offer panoramic vistas of London, including the timeless silhouette of Big Ben.

The station’s former turning circle and exercise yard for fire trucks and firemen have been reinvented into a tranquil courtyard. Here, amidst the frenetic pulse of London, guests can find a serene escape.

ALTIDO’s illustrious roster of properties boasts this flagship in London and the likes of the esteemed Gilmerton House in Scotland and Milan’s Galleria. This expansion spree has been particularly evident since their 2022 acquisition by DoveVivo. Their repertoire spans Europe, encompassing apartments, townhouses, aparthotels, and serviced apartments. It’s no surprise that their unmatched guest experience fetched them the “Property Manager of the Year Award 2022 for Scotland”.

Will Parry, the dynamic CEO of ALTIDO, encapsulated the sentiment: “The Westminster Fire Station is not just a property; it’s an experience. Its rich history coupled with modern luxury is set to offer guests an unparalleled stay in London.”
