Shelter Brewing Co’s latest Limited Release, the Left Coast IPA, will be tapped for the first time in bars and bottle shops across Western Australia on Friday 11 August.
Shelter’s Head Brewer Jason Credaro described it as the perfect beer for watching sunsets.
“This beer is an homage to the WA coastline and everything that makes it great – waves, crays, camping in the dunes, red dirt, white sand, the coral coast, tides that move like brumbies and, of course, sunsets over the sea,” he said.
“It’s a clean, crisp IPA; a fresh, new-world style with a punchy pineapple core and passionfruit, guava and pine undertones,” Credaro said.
“It’s a very sessionable beer at a sensible-ish ABV, a beer as laid back as a night around the campfire in the dunes.”
The Busselton brewery will be hosting a ‘First Pour’ to mark the release of the Left Coast IPA including tastings, DJs and giveaways.
“We’ve started putting on ‘First Pour’ events for all our Limited Releases,” Credaro said.
“We want to give the local community and beer fans a chance to come along and celebrate new brews with tastings, giveaways and maybe even a bit of a boogie later in the night if it goes that way.”
The Left Coast IPA First Pour will be at Shelter Brewing Co. on Friday 11 August from 6pm and is free.
For those that can’t make it down to Busselton, it will be tapped at venues across Perth at the same time.
