Trenchless Asia 2023 has monumentally designated Kuala Lumpur as Asia’s hub for trenchless technology in a sweeping display of innovation and economic resilience. The illustrious event, the biggest since its inception, was held at the esteemed Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, marking a victorious return to Asia post the pandemic.
The Trenchless Asia 2023, hosted in May, hosted an astounding 3,000 international delegates and showcased the latest cutting-edge solutions in the trenchless industry from 150 exhibitors from 27 diverse nations. The event offered a vibrant panorama of advancements in sustainable, economic, and efficient underground infrastructure solutions. With an impressive line-up of 24 individual conference sessions, the event surpassed all its previous editions and expectations, ushering in a new era for trenchless technology in Asia.
“The overwhelming response from delegates and exhibitors established Kuala Lumpur as the preferred Asian destination for the trenchless community,” asserted Paul Harwood, the esteemed Managing Director of Westrade Group, the event organiser. “The city’s urban development prospects, and the unswerving support from the trenchless community have fortified its standing as Asia’s trenchless hub.”
Occupying a massive 5,000 square meters, the Centre’s meticulously designed exhibition halls easily accommodated the booths and heavy machinery integral to the event. The venue offered plenty of space for visitors to engage with exhibitors and experience the exhibits, transforming the event into an immersive and comfortable experience.
The Centre’s prime location in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, coupled with its remarkable facilities and proximity to leading hotels, amplified the convenience factor. Exhibitors and visitors could stay near their clients, which bolstered business and social networking opportunities during the event.
Harwood expressed his admiration for the Centre’s unwavering commitment to providing stellar service, saying, “The Centre’s location is a gem, the facilities are exceptional, and the ‘never say no’ attitude of the staff is a rare quality that sets them apart. Despite the demanding nature of our event, the staff rose to the occasion, surpassing all expectations.”
Echoing Harwood’s sentiments, John Burke, the Centre’s General Manager, expressed pride in hosting the landmark event. “Trenchless Asia 2023 was a triumphant demonstration of the exhibition industry’s ability to foster growth, innovation, and meaningful connections. As exhibitions continue to evolve, we are dedicated to providing exceptional experiences to all participants,” said Burke.
Feedback for Trenchless Asia 2023 has been phenomenal, with participants declaring it the best show they’ve ever attended. The event bolstered business interactions, expanded networking opportunities, and encouraged knowledge sharing among industry professionals.
