Following the overwhelming success of recent events such as Global Sources Hong Kong, which attracted over 100,000 buyers to the AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE), and HOFEX, the leading food and hospitality tradeshow that welcomed 30,000 buyers from across the globe to the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC), the city is set to raise the bar even higher by hosting several upcoming remarkable trade fairs.
The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) has proudly announced the return of two prestigious global trade fairs, Vinexpo Asia 2024 and APLF Leather, Materials + & Fashion Access 2024 while securing the hosting rights for four new trade shows this year.
APLF and Vinexpo Asia to Make a Grand Comeback in 2024.
March and May of 2024 will witness the highly anticipated return of APLF Leather, Materials + & Fashion Access 2024, the globally recognized leather and fashion tradeshow, and Vinexpo Asia, the Asia-Pacific region’s premier international exhibition for the wine and spirits industry. These influential events will once again grace the vibrant city of Hong Kong.
Kenneth Wong, the General Manager of MICE & Cruise at HKTB, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “The return of these world-renowned trade shows highlights Hong Kong’s irresistible allure, its favorable trade policies, and robust foundation. This summer, Hong Kong is all set to host four inaugural exhibitions: the DMP Greater Bay Area Industrial Expo, the three-in-one expo BioCHINA 2023, the Greater Bay Area ESG & Sustainability Exhibition, and the 13th JCtrans Global Freight Forwarders Expo 2023.
