Following the successful launch of its signature Mini Hotelier brand experience, Village Hotel Sentosa by Far East Hospitality, is pleased to add two new experiences, available from 26 May 2023, to its existing line-up. Mini Concierge and Mini Responder will offer their little guests more fun and exciting ways to learn through play and a glimpse of what it takes to run a hotel.
Conceptualised with the same objective of nurturing the little ones’ imagination and creativity, and exposing them to new experiences, Mini Concierge will allow children to understand the role of a Concierge in a hotel. Apart from donning a smart jacket to look the part, they will get to learn about the history of Singapore, be introduced to some of the popular tourist attractions in the city, how to navigate our comprehensive MRT system, in order to better guide hotel guests on their trip to Singapore.
Mini Responder, on the other hand, introduces children to items in a first aid kit and how these items are utilised when a minor incident happens to or around them. Some of the activities that little ones will engage in during the session include learning how to tie an arm sling and a crossword puzzle for them to complete.
Complete Seven Experiences To Become A Certified Village Hotel Sentosa Mini Hotelier
To encourage kids to step out of their comfort zones and be open to trying out different activities, the hotel has rolled out a Mini Hotelier Graduation programme, which will reward them with a stamp for every experience they complete. Upon completing seven experiences within a year across multiple stays, little guests will receive a graduation gift pack and be certified as a Village Hotel Sentosa Mini Hotelier.
About Village Hotel Sentosa’s Signature Mini Hotelier Experience
Specially curated to allow children to try out different professions available in a hotel, the experiences include Mini Concierge, Mini Responder, Mini Artist, Mini Housekeeper, Mini Engineer, and Mini Chef. The Mini Chef experience will allow the little ones to try their hands at preparing a scrumptious pizza or pasta dish, and learn about the various ingredients used.
Mini Artist and Mini Engineer are great options for those who wish to hone their creativity and imagination. The former will offer a workshop to teach kids how to create their own artworks, while the latter will educate children on the different types of tools an engineer often use.
Mini Housekeeper, on the other hand, will impart children with crucial life skills like how to change a bed sheet, fold a shirt, clean a window and more.
Upon completing the activities in each experience, children will be rewarded with Mini Dollars, which they can use to redeem snacks and toys. Regardless which activity they pick, these unique experiences will no doubt give children a chance to explore, develop new skills, express ideas and build relationships with others.
The Mini Hotelier Experience is included in the Village Playcation stay package, as well as for guests who book their stays in Deluxe Family Rooms at Village Hotel Sentosa. This experience is also available for all other little guests, at a fee of SGD40++ per child per stay, including guests staying at The Barracks Hotel Sentosa and Oasia Resort Sentosa.
