The first direct-flight from Vijayawada to Sharjah announced by Air India Express, India’s first international budget-friendly carrier, has taken off. On October 31st, 2022, at 6:35 PM, the inaugural flight departed from Vijayawada International Airport, and will arrive in Sharjah at 9:05 PM (Local Time).
Shri Balashowry Vallabbhaneni, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Machilipatnam Lok Sabha Constituency, and Shri Kesineni Srinivas, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Vijayawada flagged off the inaugural flight at a function held at the Vijayawada Airport.
