Australian small ship specialist, Cruise Traveller, is offering savings and bonuses on a unique new circumnavigation of South America from London all the way to Antarctica and back with UK-based Fred.Olsen Cruise Lines.

As the sole, recently appointed Australian distributor for Fred.Olsen Cruise Lines, Cruise Traveller last month launched the first dedicated Australian website for the line – www.FredOlsenByCruiseTraveller.com.au and will soon release the line’s first-ever Australian brochure, for voyages in 2023-24.

Cruise Traveller’s exclusive new 80-night “Grand Circle South America’ package features a grand and rarely offered, complete circumnavigation of South America in 2023 aboard Balmoral, a ship named after the Scottish residence of the British Royal Family. The epic journey features many remote, seldom visited ports and spectacular sailing past Cape Horn and the icy wilderness of Antarctica.

Australians can save A$1715 and receive a free, two night, pre-cruise stay in London, with a choice of a complimentary tour of the city or the surrounds, plus bonus onboard spending money if the package is booked by October 31, 2022.

As a family-run cruise line, Fred.Olsen really takes your experience personally. While the rest of the cruise industry has gone for bigger ships, Fred.Olsen has always believed that smaller is better.  They have less guests on board so the service is personal and the atmosphere is warm and civilised. Their smaller ships can reach places the bigger ships cannot and are able to dock at smaller ports in more interesting places. This passion for cruising has led to them having more returning guests than any other cruise line.

Cruise Traveller’s stay and cruise package starts in London on January 3, 2023, with two free nights in deluxe hotel and a complimentary choice of a day tour.  There’s also a free transfer to Southampton to board Fred Olsen Cruise Lines’ stylish, 1350-guest ship, Balmoral, for an exotic 78-night voyage completely circling South America and including a memorable transit of the Panama Canal.

From England, Balmoral’s voyage to the bottom of the world and back will take intrepid sea lovers to 25 destinations including the rugged islands of the Azores, the fascinating time capsule of Cuba, through the Panama Canal to Ecuador and Peru – with a chance to visit the Incan ruins of Machu Picchu – and Chile including a journey through the breathtaking, glacier and mountain-lined fjords of Patagonia. Balmoral will then head further south past Cape Horn and along the pristine Antarctic Peninsula before starting the journey back north via the Falkland Islands, tango-laced Buenos Aires, the beaches of Itajai and Illhabela in Brazil, the samba beats of vibrant Rio de Janeiro and the verdant Cape Verde and Canary Islands, returning to Southampton.

Including two complimentary nights with a tour in London, a complimentary onboard drinks package and onboard spending money of between 100 and 350 UK pounds, depending on cabin category, the 80–night ‘Grand Circle South America’ package is available from A$20,895 per person, twin-share, in an Inside Cabin – a saving of A$1715 per person.

The savings and bonuses are valid for bookings made with Cruise Traveller by October 31, 2022. Flights from Australia are extra.
