In a tribute to the resilience and commitment of its people, Carnival Australia has again been named as one of the best places to work in Australia.

“We are naturally proud that Carnival Australia has received this accolade because we work hard to build a workplace where people are respected and their talents are nurtured,” said Marguerite Fitzgerald, President of Carnival Australia and P&O Cruises Australia.

“However, this honour belongs to our people for their commitment and fortitude during a very challenging period and now with their enthusiasm for rebuilding as our cruise lines and ships return to service.

“Not only did Carnival Australia come through the two-year pause in cruising recognised as one of the best places to work but also the trend continues as it helps rebuild the cruising industry and charts its own course for 2023 and beyond.”

The Great Place to Work® survey 2022 benchmarks participating companies across Australia, asking about employee relationships with management, colleagues and work, measuring credibility, respect, fairness, pride and camaraderie.

An outstanding 94 per cent of Carnival Australia employees said their workplace was a great place to work, a similar score to last year.

“Such a strong response from our people inspires us as an organisation to maintain the positive momentum based on values that our people clearly share,” Ms Fitzgerald said.
