Silversea Cruises has welcomed the Western Australian government decision to allow cruising to return in the coming weeks.
“Our guests have been patiently waiting for this news, and we are thrilled to offer the Silversea experience in this wild and remote region in just two months. This season is very close to being sold out; and we anticipate a surge of interest this week,” says Adam Radwanski, Silversea’s Managing Director Asia-Pacific.
“The remote Kimberley region is best accessed by ship, and these voyages unlock breathtaking natural wonders in places few people have been. Silversea’s signature brand of ultra-luxury elevates the experience, offering once-in-a-lifetime journeys for our guests.”
ALL-INCLUSIVE ULTRA-LUXURY
Silversea’s Silver Explorer will take guests deep into Australia’s Kimberley Coast, showcasing the best of the destination’s beautiful landscapes and remarkable wildlife. A team of expedition experts—which includes marine biologists, ornithologists, naturalists, and other knowledgeable professionals—will share their expertise on board Silver Explorer and lead excursions ashore to unlock Australia’s wilderness frontier. These passionate professionals will enrich guests’ experiences with informative lectures, discussions and recaps on board, in addition to guided Zodiac excursions, hikes, and nature walks ashore—all of which are included in the fare. They bring highly localised knowledge and will introduce travellers to unique wildlife species, such as the saltwater crocodile, rare bird species, and various reptiles—some of which are only seen in this part of the world. Included experiences range from a Zodiac trip to the King George Falls, where guests will get close enough to feel the spray from the 80m twin cascades, to an introduction to Aboriginal rock art, which dates back more than 50,000 years.
