Malaysia Healthcare applauds the Government’s decision to fully reopen Malaysia’s borders beginning 1 April 2022. This is certainly a positive indicator towards the recovery of Malaysia’s healthcare travel industry in step with revitalising the nation’s economy. In our march towards endemicity, we stand guided by the well-detailed plan and guidance announced by the Minister of Health Malaysia, Yang Berhormat Khairy Jamaluddin, during a press conference yesterday.
This timely announcement allows the Council to boost its efforts for the Recovery phase of the industry, in its mission to provide the best Malaysia healthcare travel experience by 2025. The full reopening of the borders will allow for seamless continuity of care and access to world-class quality, accessible, and affordable healthcare services for our international patients.
