TFE Hotels is continuing its expansion in Europe with the opening of two new-build hotels – Adina Hotel Dusseldorf and Adina Hotel Stuttgart – this month. Both properties are superbly located in strategic business centres and add an additional 370 keys to TFE’s growing global network. The 201-room Adina Dusseldorf, which opened on the first of the month in Germany’s fashion and shopping capital, is the first of the brand in the North Rhine-Westphalia capital. As with all Adinas, the hotel is superbly located near major transport and Dusseldorf’s exclusive shopping mile, Königsalle, with its art galleries and exhibitions.
“The opening of our hotel in Dusseldorf, one of the most important business locations in Germany, is another milestone for Adina’s growth in Europe,” says TFE’s Group Chief Operating Office, Chris Sedgwick. “There’s an interesting mix of business and leisure travellers in region and our style of apartment hotels holds wide appeal to both markets.”
According to Hotel General Manager, Julian Gaus, his guests will be able to take full advantage of the incredible views over Dusseldorf as they enjoy their morning workout from the hotel’s pool and sauna space on the seventh floor, whilst business travellers are well catered for with an onsite restaurant, open co-working space, and additional meeting rooms on the first floor.
In addition, the hotel offers 201 fully equipped, generous-sized studios and apartments and provides a great base in a new and upcoming Harkortstraße district, directly next to the main railway station.
Dusseldorf is one of two new Germany hotels launching this spring, with the 169-key Adina Hotel Stuttgart slated to open on March 15 in the new Europaviertel district – near the main railway station and the popular Milaneo shopping district.
According to Chris Sedgwick, Stuttgart – with its links to the automotive industry – is one of the most important business locations in Germany, and Adina Stuttgart will become an important address for business travellers.
“Adina’s apartment style hotels offer a great balance between independence and comfort,” he said. “Making them an excellent choice for business travellers and tourists but, importantly, also for those inevitable longer stays.”
“Add in the fact that the city is surrounded by vineyards and offers a wide variety of leisure activities including the Staatsgalerie Stuttgart, the Mercedes Benz and Porsche museums and a picturesque old town, and the hotel holds equal appeal to the leisure market.”
Each of the 169 spacious studio and apartments offer separate areas for living and working, as well as a 24-hour reception, room service and breakfast offering. The public areas, restaurant and bar are located on the seventh floor and open onto a spacious and landscaped outdoor terrace. On the ground floor, guests also have access to a wellness area with a gym, a pool, and a sauna.
Adina opened four hotels last year in Cologne, Munich, Wiesbaden, and Vienna and is set to make its Swiss debut when Adina Geneva opens in 2023.
