Experience the magnificent beauty of the recycled art world at the Transformation: Art in the Recycle exhibit! Opening Friday 10 December, catch an exclusive glimpse of the stunning artworks from local artists before the exhibit opens to the public. The opening will allow you to purchase and marvel at brilliant eco art made from plastics, textiles, wood, glass and organic found materials, which all address how the planet’s struggle under the weight of waste.
This spectacular exhibition will be amplified by our amazing gin partners who are bringing, Transformation X Archie Rose Distilling Co. to the Garden. Enjoy appetising canapes and delicious gin cocktails for a night of mesmerising artwork to support the eco artists and raise funds for horticulture, conservation, scientific research, and education programs within the Botanic Gardens.
If you would much rather participate in the art making process yourself, then the Outer Island Wine & Canvas Art Class is a great option for after work festivities or a day out with friends. Paint in one hand and have a delicious glass of vino in another as our instructors guide you through your very own Gardens-inspired Australian bird painting to take home at the end of the night.
