Spread the love

Whilst many of us are in lockdown , borders are closed and therefore very little travel is happening, our industry is keeping appraised of current situations and planning for the future. It’s not Netflix for us but very informative, educational ‘webinars’. Throughout the Pandemic, Principals and Suppliers have taken the opportunity to post many webinars, zoom meetings as this digital communication has become so prevalent in our lives. Travel Advisors have had the time to amass great product knowledge as well as keep current with our industry policies and to be there to help our clients.

Talking of communication, here is a short video  – don’t miss this FUN one!

I recently engaged in a day long webinar series with Senior Cruise Line Executives who shared their perspectives of where the industry is currently at, where their respective Line is and plans for the future. Of course safety of cruising was a key topic. The safety of cruising and the many protocols introduced worldwide are seen to be making cruising the safest experience and form of transport you can find in the travel and tourism industry. Ships have undergone huge renovations and reimbursements to comply with the strictest of health requirements. You can expect to have to be vaccinated to be able to travel by air and probably most cruise lines and this in itself is a major health safety measure.
There is a lot more to share with you which I am going to have to spread over a few newsletters …… so keep tuned in!
