Hazelwood Estate – a spectacular world class luxury country retreat – from September 2021

The passionate Northcott family has lovingly transformed a former dairy into a spectacular luxury country retreat that doubles as a wagyu cattle and polo farm, complete with restaurant, accommodation, horse-riding, beekeeping tours and more. Wander at The Overflow Estate 1895 – from December 2021

Already a favourite for visitors and locals alike, the Overflow Estate 1895 is home to sweeping views of Wyaralong Dam, a waterfront vineyard, spectacular vistas, world class restaurant and it just got a whole lot better! Lake Wyaralong will soon be home to five spectacular WanderPods, a mix of one and two bedders, designed by Wander. The full height windows and detailed design will make you feel like you’re immersed in nature whether you’re inside or out. This is truly the ultimate retreat to unplug, unwind and get back to nature. Bookings are now open for December 2021 and beyond.

North Stores North Tamborine– event space open late 2021

Local legends Brenda Fawdon (co-author of the famous eat Local Week cookbooks) and Sonja Drexler have expanded on their popular North Stores site on Tamborine Mountain. Not only can you pick up a coffee, try incredible flavor-filled dishes or purchase an amazing pre-packed picnic to savour in your own time, from later this year you can attend a workshop or event in the purpose-built space, complete with cooking school facilities. Scenic Rim Farm Shop & Café and Elderflower Farm

Under towering 120-year-old Jacarandas, amid established rose gardens and overlooking the fertile fields and crops of Kalbar sits the country’s newest food hub – the Scenic Rim Farm Shop & Café, home to the Scenic Rim Farm Box, resident chef and regional food ambassador Kate Raymont and Elderflower Farm. It’s truly a regional food homebase, where local flavours take centre stage. It’s the former Barton’s Rose Farm, and the Martin Farm before that. It’s a wonderful new chapter where people can shop fresh produce, wine, cheese, olives and artisan goodies from right across the Scenic Rim in one stop, there’s cut flowers, garden shop, plants & flower workshops from Elderflower Farm, the café is home to Annie’s Famous Carrot Cake, Tamborine Mountain Coffee and Rose Petal ice cream (of course), pick-your-own veges and more.  A MUST TRY are the FLORIPOPS (edible flower lollipops).

Olive View Estate

Olive View Estate is a stunning 700 tree Olive Grove in the Scenic Rim just a stone’s throw from Kalbar and Boonah.
