Spread the love

man standing in front of group of menThe new online platform ‘BOE connect’ is going live: Following the forced postponement of BOE INTERNATIONAL to January 2023 due to Covid, BOE connect LIVE from 4 to 5 May 2022 will now be the epicentre of the event industry, featuring exhibitors from segments including event organisation and equipment, exhibition stand construction, MICE and business travel.
Just how unbroken the hunger for industry information and interest in engaging face-to-face are after nearly two years of Covid has been underlined in no uncertain terms by the great response from exhibitors looking to attend this year’s BOE INTERNATIONAL – and by the large numbers of enquiries from trade visitors. Messe Dortmund wishes to record its gratitude for this and publish details of the new format planned for the beginning of May in Hall 4: BOE connect LIVE. Over a period of two days (4 May 2022, 10:00 – 18:00 hrs and 5 May 2022, 10:00 – 17:00 hrs), it will host around 100 exhibitors presenting products and services to an interested trade audience accompanied by a varied programme of forum events.
Live on stage – focus on trending industry topics
Visitors to BOE connect LIVE can expect a somewhat different supporting programme from previous years at BOE INTERNATIONAL. The ‘Let’s talk’ forum will kick off on Stage 1 with Impulse, Panel and Meetup formats. Visitors can help shape the programme line-up: simply email the BOE team (boe@messe-dortmund.de) with details of topics, questions and event-related ideas you would like to see addressed, and join the discussions at BOE connect LIVE as we learn from each other and catch some valuable inspiration. Attendance at keynote talks followed by Q&A sessions and at chaired panel discussions will be by advance application only. At the Meetup, free 30-minute slots will be available to feature the latest trending topics, offering an opportunity to engage and share with like-minded people. Applications to take part in these sessions can be submitted in Dortmund during the event. At ‘Speaker’s Corner’ on the second stage, exhibitors will be able to present their service portfolio and innovative developments or simply present to the audience in a pitch or speed dating format.
“Especially in times of change, getting a comprehensive overview of products on offer and sharing information within the industry have become even more important. It feels great finally to get back on the road with a live attendance format for the event industry in the form of BOE connect LIVE with great exhibitors and plenty of space for face-to-face discussions and valuable specialist talks,” said Sabine Loos, Managing Director of Westfalenhallen Unternehmensgruppe.
