The Shed” is a unique function and event centre situated within an exceptional farm-stay property, Redwing Farm, located between Maitland and Moonta. Opened in September 2020, the function centre perfectly complements the award-winning accommodation and experiences offered by the team at Redwing.The once fully-operational heritage shearing shed has been beautifully transformed into a space that caters for a wide variety of events including, but not limited to, weddings, workshops, corporate functions, school group visits and community markets.
With an inbuilt, dual-facing bar and large paved alfresco area overlooking the landscaped garden, lawns and greater property, The Shed has the ideal blend of indoor and outdoor spaces and can cater for up to 200 people indoors, and many more outdoors. There’s also access to lighting, power, water and internet too, so The Shed can cater for multiple uses.
The Shed is the first of its kind in the area and is proving to be a valuable asset to the Redwing enterprise, as demand for the space continually grows allowing the property to diversify its offering.
The launch of The Shed was extremely exciting for the team at Redwing. It had been several years in the making and despite many challenges that were thrown their way, the team’s visions finally came to fruition.
