Insook Lee, Director of Korea Tourism Organization Sydney Office said, “We had an incredible response to our first event with Lydia Lassila and Edwina Bartholmew who shared their favourite food and travel experiences and we cannot wait to hear about Dami Im’s South Korea.  While Australians start to dream about travel again, we want to highlight some of the unique places to visit in South Korea from the cherry blossoms to stunning temples, great cycling routes to K-pop”.

Dami was born in Seoul and returns regularly to see family and K-Pop was a musical influence growing up.  Dami won The X Factor Australia in 2013 and received a recording contract with Sony.  She represented Australia in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2016 coming second with her subsequent number one global hit ‘Sound Of Silence’ which then charted in 38 countries.  Dami has had four top ten albums on the ARIA chart and further hit singles with the likes of ‘Alive’, ‘Super Love’ and ‘Gladiator’ and in 2019 she was the Women In Music Humanitarian Award winner.
