Even before the global debut, the new Aquila 54 Yacht Power Catamaran has been nominated as a finalist for the Multihull of the Year in the Multipower category by Multihulls World. Voting is open to the public and will take place online until April 5, 2021: https://bit.ly/2XUaF3F.
“We are thrilled that new Aquila 54 is nominated for this very impressive award,” said Alain Raas, Aquila Brand Manager. “We are thankful for all of the support we have received from our team, customers, and dealers to receive this nomination.”
Lex Raas, President of Aquila product development, comments, “The Aquila 54 Yacht Power Catamaran breaks new boundaries, bow to stern, on a boat of this size. Integrated hull bulbs, optional fully enclosed flybridge, Portuguese bridge, choice of four different layouts with a modern finish, comfort, and space only found on significantly bigger boats and all while providing the attributes that Aquila has become known for globally.”
Called MULTIHULL OF THE YEAR, this award is presented based on results from those who visit the Multihulls World website and vote to elect their favorite catamaran or trimaran. The aim is to offer real recognition to the boats selected as the best new multihulls launched on the market.
For this fourth edition, for 2020-2021, the nominated multihulls have been selected by a Jury consisting of journalists at Multihulls World and the International Multihull Boat Show organizers. Four categories have been defined: Under 45 feet, 45 to 55 feet, Over 55 feet, and Multipowers. To vote, visit www.multihulloftheyear.com before April 5, 2021. The results are announced during the International Multihull Show at La Grande Motte on April 9.
