Today Aeronology Australia announced a commercial partnership with one of the world’s largest Traveller Profile Management Companies: Umbrella Faces, based in Switzerland.

Russell Carstensen, Co-Founder and CEO of Aeronology Australia stated, “We have studied many traveller profile systems – without doubt, Umbrella Faces www.umbrella.ch stands out as being as good as any system in the world. Umbrella Faces are European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) compliant.

The ongoing partnership agreement allows Aeronology and Umbrella to share profiles during all transactions – additionally any traveller data that is created within the Aeronology travel system will back load into Umbrella Faces seamlessly.

Two-way flow of traveller information allows the travel agent, whether Leisure, OTA, MICE or Corporate to create a perfect profile of their customers’ needs.

“There are some key points to note, very important ones”, Mr Carstensen noted. “These profiles are transferable, so any Corporation, Federal or State Government and Organisation owns the data within Umbrella, and the Umbrella Profiles can work on any NDC, GDS or LCC. The owner of the data can transfer their profiles to any TMC, Online Booking Tool or Travel Business. It is the owner of the profiles who control the source of truth. If an owner wants any deletions, changes of ownership we will do it on their behalf”.

“In using the data it’s as easy as picking the profile and then Aeronology’s database will automatically manage the Country of Origin, the Corporate ID code for the airfare, hotel group , health and safety, the duty of care requirements, and all expense management down to the cost centre. Equally, with multiple Leisure Retail outlets, the access to Umbrella Profiles means the traveller will be cared for exactly as required, their needs met and managed anywhere in the world, 24/7,” Carstensen said.
