Melco Resorts & Entertainment announces the launch of a mask design competition where the winning design will be produced and manufactured locally, supporting SMEs. In collaboration with Macau Productivity and Technology Transfer Centre (CPTTM), Melco is to create a sustainable face mask that is reusable. Full details of the competition will be announced in due course.
Mr. Lawrence Ho, Chairman & CEO of Melco, said, “With masks possibly becoming a more necessary accessory, we are pleased to have locally-produced and manufactured sustainable reusable masks. It meets our needs to support SMEs and our commitment to sustainability. With our partnership with CPTTM on the design competition, I am very excited to see the creativity from the designers and put their artistic vision into production.”
Dr. Shuen Ka Hung, Director-General of CPTTM, said, “Masks is a much-needed item by the local community, and critical to the world now We are delighted to work with Melco on this worthwhile project to support the development of Macau’s design and culture industries.
