Dedicated to offering discerning travellers the ultimate in experiential travel and bespoke itineraries, Travel Associates has announced its 2020 inaugural Advisory Board.

The Board’s ten members have been selected to represent their State and Territory stores, with each member having clocked up a minimum of 15 years’ experience with the Travel Associates brand across domestic, international or cruise travel.

Earlier this week, the Advisory Board met in Melbourne to discuss further enhancement of Travel Associates’ product portfolio, brand strategy, delivery of Purple Ribbon client service and to explore growth opportunities, while ensuring the Travel Associates DNA is at the centre of everything the business does.

Geoff Harris, one of the original co-founders of Flight Centre Travel Group and a shareholder, addressed the inaugural Advisory Board meeting, sharing his valuable insights into leadership thinking and how to use lateral thinking to tackle current business challenges.

Flight Centre Travel Group General Manager of Premium Leisure Brands, Danielle Galloway said: “This Board was hand selected with strict criteria to bring deep brand and industry knowledge to the table, the ability to influence and guide, strong connections and a genuine personality.”

“As we prepare our business for future growth, technological innovation and increased competition, it’s never been more important to work closely with our Business Leaders to guide Travel Associates into the future, retaining our premium DNA, focussing on clear value for our clients and on how we are different as a business.

Travel Associates is set for a strong 2020 with the recent introduction of its Travel Associates Cruise Boutique brand.  Cruise Boutique is a business specialisation designed to offer clients absolute cruise expertise, curated cruise offerings and unrivalled service across 14 stores in its total network of 117.

Danielle added: “We are looking forward to the Advisory Board working with our business to guide the strategic direction for expansion and differentiation, and to ensure the growth of the Travel Associates and Travel Associates Cruise Boutique brands always maintain our absolute focus on client experience, which is at the heart of our DNA.”
