Etihad Airways, the national airline of the UAE, is encouraging Aussies to head overseas with the launch of a September Global Sale – while at the same time, the airline has announced a new partnership to provide airport transfers to passengers globally.

Australians can explore more than 15 destinations from 1 October 2019 to 20 June 2020 for less, with fares from Sydney to Athens starting from just AUD 1220 economy return via Abu Dhabi.
Aussies can hit snooze and wake up in London for as little as AUD 1235 return or indulge their love of Madrid from AUD 1250 return.
Travellers who want to head to Zurich can get there for AUD 1272 return or visit Paris for AUD 1301. The sale extends across all of Etihad’s cabins, with return Business fares starting from AUD 6340 out of Melbourne to Zurich.
For travellers looking for a free stopover, Etihad is now offering two nights free stay in Abu Dhabi, no matter what the booking.
Etihad’s sale fares are available from 12:00am 9 September 2019 at etihad.com and from 15 September via travel agents and runs until the 20 September for travel between 1 October 2019 until 20 June 2020.

MEANWHILE Eithad and vehicle rental provider SIXT have announced a new partnership to provide airport transfers to passengers globally.
Customers can now book the extra transfer service online for their flight via etihad.com immediately after purchasing their airline ticket or even up to one hour in advance. The new service covers various car categories from limousines to SUVs – all operated by professional chauffeurs.
Jamal Al Awadhi, Etihad Airways Vice President Product and Guest Experience, said: “It is important that our renowned Etihad experience exists across the entire customer journey. This new service enhancement provides a seamless transportation experience for our guests from their home to the airport and then upon arrival at their destination.”
