Despite unrest in Hong Kong over the weekend, the airport remained open and only a handful of flights were cancelled. The airport express was closed for a period of four hours on the evening of Sunday 1st, with services resuming at 10.30pm local time. Today, all stations on the airport express are reported to be running without interruption. Roads leading to/from the airport, though congested, remain open.

The MTR Corp has secured an extended injunction to restrain people from unlawfully obstructing or interfering with the proper use of stations and trains.

There has been no impact on services within Hong Kong and all continue to operate as usual. We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as necessary and our team is in regular contact with all clients and agents affected by the disruptions.
