Cruise & Maritime Voyages (CMV) is excited to launch its wide range of Grand Voyages for 2021 and its 2021 World Cruise, alongside a host of other ‘once-in-a-lifetime’ voyages.

The series of grand voyages on offer for 2020/21 means guests can explore Australia and the world on one of CMV’s small to mid-sized ships. Round-the-World with CMV: 120-Night Grand World Voyage
Guests taking the full 120-night Grand World Cruise can set sail on board Columbus from London (Tilbury) in January 2021 and return in May after visiting more than 38 destinations across 24 countries. This includes overnight stays in Papeete, Sydney, Mombasa (Kenya) and Cape Town. Back by popular demand are CMV’s extended stays, giving guests more time to explore ashore in Colon (for Panama City), Tonga, Auckland, Airlie Beach, Singapore, Phuket and Colombo, Rio de Janeiro, Salvador and Casablanca (for Marrakech).
Columbus is CMV’s flagship, with the leading independent cruise line this year celebrating 10 years in operation. A mid-sized vessel, Columbus accommodates up to 1,400 guests and is renowned for offering an intimate and country-club-like atmosphere on board. Rather than travelling via the Suez Canal as CMV has previously done, this voyage will sail around the tip of South Africa, giving guests the opportunity to take a wildlife safari out of Cape Town or visit the white sandy beaches of Mombasa in Kenya.
World Cruise Sectors
CMV also offers a flexible range of sectors from the Grand World Voyage where guests can opt to embark on their globe-traversing trip from Sydney for less than $150 per person per night with CMV’s early booking specials.
Guests can board Columbus for a 49-night London to Sydney sector or a 71-night Sydney to London sector. Guests are encouraged to get in early to snap up the Buy One Get One Free offer, with the 71-night sector available for as little as $10,389 per person (Guest 1 from $20,779 with Guest 2 FREE). Alternatively, cruisers can enjoy a small taste of what it is a like to sail on a round-the-world voyage, by opting for a shorter Sydney to Singapore or Cape Town voyage.
CMV’s newest addition to the fleet, Vasco da Gama, will be offering a range of voyages between London and Australia, visiting destinations including Asia, the Panama Canal, the Suez Canal and the Mediterranean Australian travellers can cruise across the world and only take one flight with these voyages being offered from ports such as Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne and Perth (Fremantle).
South Pacific and Caribbean Grand Voyages
Vasco da Gama’s Southbound Voyage will sail from London (Tilbury) through the Panama Canal and across the South Pacific, offering overnight stays in Bridgetown (Barbados) and Papeete (French Polynesia) as well as a visit to the pristine, unspoiled Maroe Bay (French Polynesia). Asian and Mediterranean Grand Voyages
Vasco da Gama’s 74-night Grand Northbound Voyage will travel from Perth (Fremantle) to London (Tilbury) and will sail through Asia, the Suez Canal and the Mediterranean, offering an overnight stay in Istanbul and extended stays in iconic destinations including Phu My for Ho Chi Minh City, Santorini and Casablanca. This voyage has some exciting new calls, slightly off-the-beaten-path, including Canakkale (Turkey) for tours to Troy and Gallipoli as well as Port Said (Egypt), gateway to Cairo. Cabins for this voyage start from as little as $8,999 per person (Guest 1 from $17,999 with Guest 2 FREE) or $122 per person per night.
The 20/21 season will be the ship’s second season in Australia. Vasco da Gama’s Grand Voyages use Australian dollars on board, offering a convenient and cost-effective travel experience for Australians. Guests can get a taste of the ship when she arrives for her first Australasian season this December.
Marco Polo’s 110-night Grand Oriental Odyssey will visit exotic and on-trend Asian destinations including China, Japan, South Korea, India, Vietnam and Cambodia. In addition, the voyage will visit iconic destinations in the Mediterranean and the Red Sea as it transits the Suez Canal and will venture as far as Vladivostok in Russia. Cabins start from just $15,359 per person (Guest 1 from $30,709 with Guest 2 FREE) or $140 per person per night.
This voyage also includes overnight stays in Ashdod (Israel), extended stays in Tianjin for Beijing, Hong Kong, Halong Bay, Phuket, Colombo, Safaga for Luxor and Piraeus for Athens, and the cruise can also be booked in one-way sectors such as Bristol to Hong Kong or Hong Kong to Bristol.
South American Grand Voyages
On Magellan’s 84-night Grand South America & Amazon Discovery voyage, guests have the chance to be one of the few travellers who can say they’ve circumnavigated spectacular South America, with a grand voyage on board the intimate Magellan. Guests can visit incredible destinations such as Peru, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Chile, Argentina and Brazil.
