Melco Resorts & Entertainment is dedicated to providing world-class, non-gaming leisure offerings in support of the Macao SAR government’s policies to promote the city as a global tourism capital. Committed to promoting local talent, Melco participated in the inaugural Macau Integrated Tourism and Leisure Enterprise Vocational Skills Competition co-organized by the Macao Federation of Trade Unions and Labour Affairs Bureau (DSAL). The Melco team consisted of 15 local employees; and the team received Bronze awards in the Hotel Services competition and Western Culinary competition, in addition to the award for Best Dessert (Culinary).

Ms. Akiko Takahashi, Chief Officer of Human Resources and Corporate Social Responsibility of Melco Resorts & Entertainment said, “At Melco, we encourage and support lifelong learning and the nurture of local talent for career advancement. We are therefore delighted to take part in the first Macau Integrated Tourism and Leisure Enterprise Vocational Skills Competition to support our teams to further enhance their professional skills, as well as advancing industry standards through competition.
