After several weeks of speculation and intrigue, Ingrid Kocijan has announced she has joined Evolution Travel Collective (ETC) as the new General Manager of Brand, Strategy and Partnerships.

Kocijan joins the recently formed ‘brand and representation’ company after 15 years experience in previous roles across various global businesses including Director of Sales Australia / New Zealand (G Adventures) and Commercial Director and Market Manager (Rail Plus/Rail Europe).

Peter Rawley, CEO & Founder of ETC said he is ‘absolutely thrilled that someone of Ingrid’s experience and professional reputation had made the decision to join the ETC business as we develop this innovative model within the region”.

Rawley continued, “you only have to look at what Ingrid has already achieved in her professional career to understand the significance of this appointment for the ETC business at this stage of our evolution”.

Kocijan was equally enthusiastic when explaining some of the reasons for the move,
“it’s incredibly exciting to be a founding member of the senior management team at ETC and the opportunity to play a key role in building the business from the ground up. Having already enjoyed working within well established businesses previously, the challenge of being involved in a startup was something that I just couldn’t say no to.’
She added that the decision to come on board was further enhanced due to the innovative hybrid model ETC has built and the benefits that it will undoubtedly bring to partner brands and agents alike.

“This model has not been seen previously within the Australia and New Zealand market and specialises in a highly targeted, rather than a generic approach, that then supports the best possible outcomes for all partners involved. I look forward to being able to work with new and existing ETC partners using this unique approach.”

Ingrid has started with the business as of 1 January 2019.
